A Wide-Band Design of Directional Array-Speaker with Specified Sidelobe Size

(in English) This paper presents a method for designing directional array speakers with the same directivity and specified sidelobe size over the wideband by means of two-dimensional(2-D) Fourier series approximation, where 1-D equi-ripple stopband responses are arranged on the cross sections in the 2-D frequency plane to compose a target amplitude response of 2-D fan filter. It is shown that the band of the same directivity can be extended in the lower frequency area by setting the 1-D responses with a large size of ripple in only the non-physical area.
