Recently, discussions on Human interface with EEG have been extensively reported. In this report, the purpose is directed towards recognition of EEG signals under looking and imaging of six subjects. Features of EEG signals are extracted in terms of the fractal dimension analyses. Recognition of EEG signals is accomplished by learning and recognition process with the aid of fractal dimensions. We have examined Human interface by recognizing EEG signals when imaging for the intended object. As results, recognizing the intended object is confirmed from the ratio of the output corresponding to the imaging object. In addition, the recognition rate was about 59% though it was the lowest for an object. This approach is considered to have an ability to recognize the intended object by analyzing EEG signals in terms of fractal dimension when imaging an object of six objects displayed. In addition it was suggested that there exists a possibility for an application as Human interface which possesses a function like an EEG keyboard. |
