An element value design method for RC polyphase filters having equal ripple characteristics both in passband and stopband has been proposed.A sub-optimal design method for the equal ripple characteristics has been proposed previouslye; however, any method that gives the exact element values for the equal ripple RC polyphase filters seems to have not been reported.This report presents a numerical design method for the equal ripple RC polyphase filters, which permits any sequence of the transmission zeros.Using this method, we investigated into relations between transmission-zero sequence and element-value spread.We found that there are zero sequences with much smaller element value spread than conventional descending or sacending order of zero sequences. |
