In this paper, we propose an antenna structure that obtains wide bandwidth characteristic and small size in a mobile wireless terminal. This antenna uses a circuit board conductor as a radiating element and uses a human body as a ground plane. It have an advantage of reducing volume of the antenna element remarkably because it doesn’t need antenna parts, for example λ/4 resonance element . We have examined the antenna characteristics and radiation mechanism by calculations and measurements, and have shown that the proposed antenna achieved excellent reflection(VSWR<3) and radiation efficiency(>-4.5dB) in very wide bandwidth(0.8~6.0GHz). |
