Simulation of location registration method for hybrid ad hoc network

(in English) Location registration is necessary for sending data to terminals in a hybrid ad hoc network that is composed of the ad hoc network and the core network. However, signals for location registration increase exponentially with the number of the terminals and growing mobility. To solve this problem, a location registration method has been proposed in this paper where multiple gateways are employed to support location registration. We evaluate our method by extensive simulation and show the superiority of our proposal in terms of location registration signal number, paging signal number and the arrival of message packet attainment rate.
