Tree Construction for Secession of User in Application-level Multicast

(in English) In Application-level Multicast, end-hosts which have interests on receiving multicast data construct overlay network and data is transmitted on this overlay multicast tree. When file distribution service is provided in application-level multicast, each host has a tendency of withdrawing from overlay network after it receives its required file. This withdrawal of host may have severe influence on other hosts located downstream of this node. This paper proposes a new tree construction method for resolving this technical problem. Our proposed method constructs two trees, each of which has different tree construction policy. Computer simulation results in the paper show that our proposed method improves imbalance of file receiving latency at multicast members in a session.
