Dependence of antenna tilt on delay spread in microwave mobile communications

(in English) For mobile communications, the antenna tilt technique have been used to enlarge frequency resource usage. However these tilt angles have been set by considering the propagation path loss, dependence of antenna tilt angle on transmission quality has not been discussed. In this report, delay spreads are used as the transmission quality, and the dependence of antenna tilt angle on delay spread is discussed. Results show that an increase in path gain does not always result in small delay spread and that there may be the optimal tilt angle for the radio transmission.
