In oreder to achieve low power consumption and consequent downsizing, it is effective for booster repeater of mobile communications to adopt the RF nonlinear compensation technology. In this report, a 2 GHz high efficiency power amplifier using Cuber-Predistortion circuit and its self-adjusting scheme is proposed aiming to apply to the booster repeater of IMT-2000. The fundamental circuit construction and experimental results are shown. Moreover, it is confirmed that the obtained ACLR performance satisfies relevant specification for IMT-2000. |
