Rhombic Microstrip Antenna with Slits and Its Radiation Properties -- なし --

(in English) The characteristics of a new type of multiband rhombic microstrip antenna with slits were investigated in this study. The basic designing techniques for the antenna are also presented in this paper. Several samples of multiband rhombic microstrip antennas with slits were fabricated and tested at the C-band and X-band to evaluate the performance of the antennas. The results of simulations showed that the test antennas have excellent performance in terms of both radiation patterns and return-loss characteristics. Moreover, the experimental return-loss characteristics of the test antennas agreed well with the computed results obtained by IE3D simulator. This type of antenna is , therefore, considered to be an effective model for a multiband planar antenna.
