Array antennas that are distributed in the wide area compose the very large array antenna. This is called distributed array antenna. Distributed array antenna can form very narrow beam and the high resolution performance is realized by this. However, the large intervals of sub array antennas caused the grating lobes. In this paper, the constant shift arrangement of sub array is proposed. This antenna arrangement makes it possible to suppress grating lobes. Simulation results shows that the proposed arrangement have lower grating lobes than the random shift arrangement. |
