Planar antenna with multi frequency bands printed on the dielectric substrate

(in English) In the mobile communications, multi-functionalization of PDA(personal digital assistant) has been developed. In order to multi-functionalize, an antenna with small-size and conformal structure is desired. In this paper, planar antennas printed on dielectric substrate are proposed for mobile communications, and the characteristics of the antenna such as return loss, radiation pattern and axial ratio are analyzed by using FDTD method. From analytical results, it is clear that the planar antenna is useful for multi-functionalization mobile communications.
