Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Understanding dynamics and structure of human motor control systems is
beneficial not only for designing human interface but also for clinical
applications. Network analysis based on different biological signals has
not been well studied. In this study, we tried to estimate the network
based on EEG and EMG, which is a challenging problem due to their
qualitative difference. One interesing target is to examine the
contralateral government according to the network analysis. We need to
select stationary blocks by using a locally stationary auroregressive
model, because the acquired data are non-stationary as extended. The
selected brocks were processed by the frequency-domain analysis (dDTF)
and the contribution of each path was examined by a model selection. As
a result, we found the contralateral pathway is dominant in this motor
control. In addition, EEG involves information of feedbacks from the
effector (EMG) and strong interhemispheric information in the brain.
