Jichang Dong (CAS), Wuyi Yue (Konan Univ.)
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Knowledge transfer is a complex Knowledge Management (KM) activity
that integrates communication technologies with social, culture
and organizational issues. To implement and operate an Enterprise
Resource Planning (ERP) system, knowledge transfer is an important
method to constitute effective KM systems and develop effective
transfer strategies to enhance competitive advantage. This paper
investigates the use of knowledge transfer to support ERP systems
across their entire life cycle. Namely, knowledge transfer is used
to select, implement and use ERP systems. A Multi-Agent based
framework is presented for knowledge transfer in ERP implementation process. Also, discussions about the relationship between the knowledge management in ERP implementation and ERP effect are provided.
