Effective Answer Extraction from Log Texts in Mutual Support Community

Recently, we can see mutual support community web sites that users can ask and answer questions about daily life. In this community, since there are a lot of answers for each question, it takes too much time to search for the effective answers. Therefore, we propose an answer extraction method for this community. First, we describe the evaluation of useful log text features for answer extraction. By using evaluated features, the system extracts the effective answers. Finally, the system is verified by comparing extracted answers with questioners’ selection. |
