Real-time measurement on Detection of the REM sleep using the instantaneous of heart beat

(in English) People sleep generally 1/3 on the day. Therefore good sleep is important for a human. Recently, while it is said that one of five persons people have uneasiness in sleep[1], comfortable waking may be difficult by stress or shift operations of 24 hours, etc. Moreover, the brain at the time of REM sleep is functionally close to the state of awakening . Therefore, it is said that waking in the time of REM sleep cannot be easily accompanied by displeasure compared with waking in the time of nonREM sleep. In this study, change of heart rate which appears at the time of REM sleep was caught using the data obtained from heart rate monitor, and REM sleep was detected on real time. Moreover, the waking system woke at the time of REM sleep was evaluated.
