Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) A multiband transmission scheme which uses the fragmented spectrum
in a single system is proposed.
This concept is that a single radio system use several spectrum ranges, whose availabilities are
varied according to temporal and geographical condition. This paper describes the capacity evaluation of the
multiband transmission. When the channel allocation control is assumed, the capacity could vary depending on not only the radio spectrum frequency range and bandwidth, but also the location of the base station,
and the type of the base station, which are accommodated with several frequency bands. In this paper, several network deployment scenarios are classified in case of using the multiband transmission, and the capacity using a dynamic channel allocation is evaluated by a computer simulations. The dynamic channel allocation scheme, which covers two or more bands, is also analysed.
