A Parallel Computing System on Data Grid Environment using Process Migration

(in English) In the data grid technology, technique of the parallel processing with many computing nodes is used to achieve efficient processing. However, transfer of large-volume data in the network becomes a performance problem. In this paper, we propose a system that suppresses the amount of data transfer in network as much as possible by forwarding a computing process to each data node, and process the data in each data node. This technique can improve the degree of parallelism easily by executing a computing process at each data node. Moreover, we designed I/O API such that users can program without considering the distributed file in the network.
