The authors have been developing an automatic software development schedule planning system. The system which has been developed is creating software development plan by assigning automatically the workers within an own organization to the process in a project using a genetic algorithm. However, this system could not create an appropriate schedule plan in case of worker deficiency. Therefore, it is derived how many and what kinds of workers who are lacking for creating an appropriate schedule plan by assigning dummy workers. Additionally, the dummy workers' profile (a kind of worker's skill, cost etc…) are shown to a project manager. The project manager comes to be able to procure the workers who make up for a deficiency on the basis of dummy workers' profile. This paper proposes a method to derive how many and what kinds of workers who can be completed software development by assigning dummy worker in case of worker deficiency. And the paper proves that the method is effective in software project management through an example of system. |
