Algorithm for Obtaining a Periodic Solution with Temporal Symmetry
Minoru Tano, Tomohiro Kubo, Hiroshi Kawakami (Tokushima Univ.)
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) A periodic solution with temporal symmetry may be observed in a circularly coupled dynamical system such as coupled neural circuit with cyclic structure.
By using the symmetrical properties the periodic solution can be obtained by numerical integration of the system with some fractional period.
The method becomes efficient when we consider a system with a large number of oscillators.
