Video quality automatic measurement algorithm using the coded bit stream

(in English) Objective perceptual video quality measurement techniques without using an original picture image is expected in the image distribution on the internet. In this paper, we analyze partially an MPEG-2 elementary stream to get error information, and we propose the algorithm as the one method of the objective quality evaluation for MPEG-2, which measures image quality from the error information. The validity of the algorithm was checked by subjectivie evaluation experiment.
