Pre-equalization for single carrier transmission

(in English) Recently, frequency-domain equalization (FDE) at a receiver has been attracting attention for improving the SC transmission (e.g., DS-CDMA) performance in a frequency-selective fading channel. Authors have been studying frequency domain pre-equalization at a transmitter as an effective technique to improve the transmission performance. In this paper, a pre-equalization transmission in the frequency-domain, called pre-FDE transmission, is presented. It is confirmed by the computer simulation that pre-FDE transmission can achieve a bit error rate (BER) performance close to that attainable by FDE reception.
