Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper discusses how to calculate maximum throughput for well-structured workflow nets with conflict-free resources (CF-Res-WSWF-nets).
We first give the definition of CF-Res-WSWF-nets. CF-Res-WSWF-nets can model workflows composed of sequential, parallel, and conditional routings. Next, we present structural and behavioral properties of CF-Res-WSWF-nets. By using these properties, we propose a method of calculating maximum throughput for CF-Res-WSWF-nets under the condition that all cases(workflow instances) are processed in the order of First-In First-Out. Finally we illustrate our method with an example of calculating the maximum throughput of a CF-Res-WSWF-net that models an actual workflow.
