40Gb/s ultra fast optical 3R gate for suppressing the amplitude noise

(in English) We modeled the PDSMZ-type(i.e., UNI-type) 3R gating scheme, serched for its optimum conditions such as pulse width, and consequently predicted the maximum available degree of noise suppression for both ‘1’ and ‘0’ signals. We also found that the gate-window shape completely differs from what it has been believed to be.
