Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Punctured convolutional codes are obtained by periodically deleting bits from original codes to reduce code rate. It is considered that the prefomance of punctured codes depend on that of the original coes, therefore good convolutional code is used as original code. We obtain the new punctured codes from new good convolutional codes, and calcurate the weight spectrum of those codes. Finally we compare the new codes with previous coes, and then we obtain the new good punctured convolutional codes, which have memory length from 9 to 22, and rate 2/3, 3/4, 4/5, and 5/6.
