For the public wireless LAN access environments, it is limited for the number of wireless channels in the same geographical area, so that efficient wireless channel allocation method is required. Depending on terminal conditions (i.e. physical rate speed) and applications (i.e. communication interval, communication direction, and data amount), the wireless channel allocation mechanism becomes more complicated and the usability of wireless channel is declined.
In this paper, we propose a simple queuing mechanism to solve the abovementioned problem using the 802.11e interface. And we simulate our proposal method and identify its validity. |
