[Short Paper] Cognitive Radio in 5G -- A Smart City Perspective --

(in English) The Cognitive radio technology and 5G wireless standards are considered as future technologies and the same can be used for realization of smart cities. This paper aims to advance existing understanding and technological concepts for adoption of cognitive radio technology in the 5th generation wireless network deployment. Fifth generation communication systems are expected to be intelligent and be able to efficiently utilize their network resources. This work proposes the use of cognitive radio networks for deploying the fifth generation wireless networks in a smart or intelligent city.
