---------------------CFP for IEICE SC Research Meeting ----------------------------------------- The Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE) Research Society on Service Computing CFP for the Research Meeting on Service Computing under DX, and general topics ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Date & Time: 08:50 - 17:55 on March 11 (Friday), 2022 * Place: Online (EventIn) https://eventin.space/e/4YzwXeJnGZSKw5DQJn36/register * Theme: Service Computing under DX, and general topics ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As seen in the trends of AI and IoT over the past few years, it can have been mentioned that we are currently at a major social and technological turning point toward the digital first, digitalization. This is not limited to a technical aspect. It seems that the economy is, of course, encouraging major changes in the social and political systems, and conversely, these changes in social demands are further boosting digitalization, itself. As known well, one of the biggest factors can be the adoption of Internet and its establishment as social infrastructure". However, "Service Computing" has been also, which has promoted a paradigm shift from "Owning" to "Using" each computing resources. The role of "Service Computing" is definitely not negligible. In this SIG, we would like to promote lively discussions focusing on the concept of "Service Computing" and "the role of Service Computing in DX" in the present age when the era of discontinuity is approaching. An invited lecture related to this will also be planned. We are calling for papers in a wide range of topics related to the above. We also welcome experiences gained in theory, algorithms, applications, problem-raising, and practice. We also welcome general topics that have been dealt with in previous service computing workshops. Please apply with all your might. As the initial plan, the meeting will be held in the hybrid consisting of online and an actual meeting, however it might be changed into the online only in the worse situation of Covid-19 disaster. Please keep it in minds. * Registration Fee: Free for IEICE SC members including authors but fee for listeners will cost based on IEICE rule. * Submission: Please submit the information (name, affiliation, paper title, abstract 100-200 words first) to the system below.
