ASPIRE (Advanced International Collaborative Research Promotion Program) by JST (Japan Science and Technology Agency) is a program that supports global networking and community building in cutting-edge science and technology fields while fostering human resources who can thrive internationally. In this workshop, researchers from semiconductor and communication fields, selected in FY2023, will gather to present their activities, share future prospects, and exchange opinions. Additionally, experts from Japan and the US will provide insights into the latest developments in the field and discuss the strengths of Japanese researchers on a global stage. During the lunch session, participants will exchange knowledge on administrative challenges in international collaboration (such as NDAs, intellectual property, and visas) and possible solutions. Through this workshop, we aim to deepen participants' understanding of ASPIRE’s objectives and significance and provide insights that can benefit their own research activities.
