[所信表明]

Withコロナ時代の今日,電子情報通信分野の重要性は増しており,本学会も様々な形での貢献が求められています.Withコロナ時代の研究開発や教育・人材育成等の面での社会貢献には,電子情報通信技術に基づきながら様々な分野と協調し,従来の枠を超えたサービスの提供が必要です.私は,本会通信ソサイエティ会長やIEEE ComSoc, Asia Pacific Board, Vice Directorを始めとした自分の豊富な学会・国際経験や,通信ソサイエティ初の全分野に渡る国際会議ICETCを立ち上げた経験を活かし,Withコロナ時代の本学会の社会貢献を目指し,皆様と共に様々な施策を考え実行していきたいと思います.

[プロフィール]

慶應義塾大学理工学部卒.現在,慶應義塾大学理工学部教授.本会通信ソサイエティ会長・副会長,本会知的環境とセンサネットワーク研専委員長.本会編集会議ソサイエティ副編集長,本会英文論文誌編集副委員長,IEEE ComSoc, Asia Pacific Board, Vice Director, 同会Signal Processing for Communications and Electronics Technical Committee, Chair, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, Area Editor, IEEE Communications Surveys & Tutorials及びIEEE Wireless Communications Magazine, Technical Editor, Elsevier Physical Communications, Editor, APSIPA Board of Governorなどを歴任.これまで,195編以上の学術論文,400編以上の国際会議論文などを発表,50件以上の特許及び特許出願.本会フェロー.

[Statement]

To contribute to society in terms of research and development, education, and human resource development in the With Corona era, it is necessary to provide services that go beyond the conventional framework by cooperating with various fields based on electronic information and communication technology. It is necessary to provide services that transcend conventional boundaries. I would like to contribute to the society in the With Corona era by taking advantage of my abundant experience in academic societies and international conferences, including serving as President of the Communications Society of the IEICE and Vice Director of the IEEE ComSoc, Asia Pacific Board, as well as my experience in establishing ICETC, the first international conference of the Communications Society covering all fields. I would like to consider and implement various measures together with all of you, aiming to contribute to society in the With Corona era.

[Biography]

Tomoaki Ohtsuki received the B.E., M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Keio University, Yokohama, Japan. He is now a Professor of the Department of Information and Computer Science at Keio University, Yokohama, Japan. He is engaged in research on wireless communications, optical communications, signal processing, and information theory. He has published more than 195 journal papers and 400 international conference papers, and filed more than 50 patents. He is a President of IEICE ComSoc now. He served a Vice President of IEICE ComSoc, Chair of IEEE ComSoc, Signal Processing for Communications and Electronics Technical Committee, and a technical editor of the IEEE Wireless Communications Magazine. He is now serving an Area Editor of the IEEE Trans. on Vehicular Technology and an editor of the IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, IEICE Communications Express, and Elsevier Physical Communications. He is a fellow of IEICE.
