[Statement]

The recent development of practical AI technology and related increase of communications traffic/computation have opened the door to new fields of IEICE Electronics Society (ES) by enhancing the significance of its relationship to neighboring and other scientific/technical areas. It is also desired to host more international conferences and technical meetings so that overseas members join the ES activities with their initiatives. I would like to contribute to ES through members' discussion by focusing on the following points.
* Enhancement of the cooperation with neighboring and other societies to improve the research environment for construction and development of new technical areas.
* Increase of international-conference hosting not only for revenue growth but also for enhancement of overseas members' merits and direct interaction.
* Transactions on Electronics (English): Promoting overseas members to participate in editorials and to improve IF.
* Supporting training meetings and seminars for industry-government-academic relationship enhancement including job matching for students.
* Transactions on Electronics (Japanese): Coupled with the training meetings, stressing on the field technology as well as invited articles.
