我々の日常生活は多種多様なICTにより支えられています．その中で研究開発活動は，より一層，人・社会・地球環境などを意識して推進する視点が必要と考えています．本会は，電子工学および情報通信に関する研究開発活動を支える大きな役割を持つ学会です．監事として本会に貢献できればと考えております．

［プロフィール］

神戸大学工学部卒業（1982），同大学院修了（1984），工学博士（1996年東京大学）．
1984年から2014年までNTTに勤務．2014年からNTTエレクトロニクス（株）に勤務．電子情報通信学会シニア会員，本会では，OIS研究専門委員会委員長，東京支部長，総務理事を務めた．

［Statement］

Since our daily life is fully supported by a variety of the ICT, R&D activity should be deployed with a view to human, society and global environment even more deeply. IEICE is expected to lead R&D activities and launch new challenges from the widely varying viewpoints. I will serve as an auditor to be an attractive institute for members and also other industries.

［Biography］

He received Bachelor and Master degrees from Kobe University in 1982 and 1984 respectively. He received Doctor of Engineering from Tokyo University in 1996. He was with NTT from 1984 to 2014. He is working for NTT Electronics Corp. since 2014. He is a Senior Member of IEICE and also served as a chair of technical committee on office information system (OIS), tokyo section chair, and general affairs director.
