［所信表明］

日本は世界に先駆けて高齢化社会を迎えています。このような中、高齢化社会に起因した労働人口減少への対応や安全安心な社会実現といった様々な課題を解決するにあたり、CPSやIoT等情報通信技術へ大きな期待が寄せられています。実世界とのインターフェースとそれにより取得したデータの通信を含めた情報処理による産業や社会問題の解決が期待されているのです。ここでは、様々な技術領域が、今まで以上に密接に関わることが大切になってきており、これらの分野を網羅する電子情報通信学会は、技術領域内のみならず領域間の連携の場として適切な活用が可能であると思っています。調査理事として、微力ながら本学会の運営と発展に貢献できればと思います。

［プロフィール］

東京大学工学部物理工学科卒業(1985)、Dublin大学修士課程修了(1991)、Leicester大学修士課程修了(2010)。工学博士（東京大学）。1985年日立製作所入社(1985-現在)。その間、新エネルギー・産業技術総合開発機構(2003-2006)、新機能素子研究開発協会(2009-2010)、科学技術振興機構(2017-現在)。

OPE研究専門委員及び同幹事(2007-2009)、SIPH研究専門委員(2012-2017)、エレクトロニクスソサイエティ企画広報幹事(2013-2015)、ELEX編集委員(2011-2014)等。学術奨励賞(1994)、エレクトロニクスソサイエティ活動功労表彰(2009、2015)。

［Statement］

Japan is entering an aging society. Under such circumstances, information and communication technologies such as CPS and IoT are attracting great interest in solving industrial and social problems for a safe and secure society. For these purposes, various technical fields including the physical layer and the information communication layer are more closely related here than ever. The Institute of Electronics Information and Telecommunication covers these fields and I believe it can promote field convergence. As a survey board director, I would like to contribute to the management and development of this society.

［Biography］

Misuzu Sagawa received the B. E. and D. Eng. Degrees from University of Tokyo in 1985 and 1998, the Master’s Degrees from University of Dublin in 1991 and from University of Leicester in 2010. She joined Hitachi ltd., where she engaged in research and development of photonics for information and communication systems. She also worked for NEDO in 2003-2006, and now are working for JST. Served as a secretary of OPE, a committee member SIPH, director of Planning, Membership, and Finance Council of Electronics society, and an associate editor of ELEX. Recipient of the Young Researcher's Award in 1994 and Electronics Society Activity Testimonials in 2009 and 2015.
