[Statement]
With the advance of IoT (Internet of Things), there are a lot of opportunities for Electronics, Information and Communication technologies to contribute for changing society and industries. As an important academic society in the domain, IEICE could be contributing more in many ways. However, IEICE is now facing issues, such as reduction of members and financial deterioration. To get more interests from various people, we need to think a transformation of our society to the next stage. With proactive new challenges, I believe, we are able to be a more attractive and dynamic organization. I would like to try my best to initiate the reform of the operation of IEICE.
