ESS (Engineering Science Society) has been contributing to fundamental and/or interdisciplinary researches in electronics, information and communication engineering, and also contributing to creation of new research fields which cannot be covered by other societies. To this end, there are so many subsocieties and technical committees in ESS which have various action policies and different stances to ESS. On the other hand, in order to create and develop new fields, all technical committees agree that activation and globalization of ESS by nurturing young researchers and students is a common important issue. I would like to develop a flexible management system in ESS which will support various activities as well as developments of new fields in the subsocieties and technical committees. I also would like to tackle the common important issue, that is, activation and globalization of ESS with all the members of ESS. [Biography] |
