本会フェロー,EMA(Electromagnetics Academy)フェロー,IEEEフェロー.

【Statement】
Now, we are experiencing great changes in various aspects and fields. Also, waves of such changes are moving in a global scale over the world. There is no exception in the case of academic societies. The IEICE has significantly contributed to the remarkable progress in the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) not only of Japan, but also of the world. However, my concern is that the IEICE has to reconsider their role and raison d'etre in order to strengthen centripetal forces towards the acceleration of innovation and the growth of industries as well as the advance of academic areas. I would like to make an effort in more activation and globalization of the IEICE, where I have learned so much since I joined as a student member over 30 years ago.
