IEICE ESS Society has covered various research fields and created continuously new attractive interdisciplinary collaboration research fields. With these activities, I was a member of CAS, VLD, DSP-TC (Technical Committee) in the past, and served as a general chair of DSP symposium, ITC-CSCC et. al. In addition, as one of founders, new SIS-TC has been established in 2003. Since 2010, as ESS vice-president and ad hoc member for internationalization, I have supported the globalization of ESS. Currently, ESS is trying to establish new society and considering about better society services suitable for all members and student members. With the high activities of sub-societies and TCs, I would like to contribute the evolution of an attractive and global society.
