AI の急速な発展により、本会が扱う電子情報通信分野の研究対象は大きく変化しています。研究の進め方も従来とは異なるスタイルが求められ、研究開発に必要な情報の取得も、これまで以上に容易になりました。このような環境の変化の中にあっても、本会には専門家が活発に議論し、互いの知見を高め合う場が数多く存在します。そして何より、本会は研究者が成長できる学会であり続けていると実感しています。今後、本会をさらに発展させるためには、本会の在り方に関する継続的な議論・検討、学会としての魅力の発信、そしてそれを支える財政基盤の強化が不可欠であると考えます。多くの皆さまとの建設的な議論を通じて、会計理事として本会の活動に貢献できればと思います。
1993年 慶應義塾大学理工学部電気工学科卒業、1995年 同大学院修士課程修了。同年、日本電信電話株式会社（現 NTT株式会社）に入社し、光通信用 IC などの集積回路の研究開発に従事。2012年よりモバイル向け光アクセス技術の研究開発を開始。
現在、同社 先端集積デバイス研究所 企画担当 主席研究員。これまでに、本会 東京支部会計幹事、エレクトロニクスソサイエティ総務幹事、総務理事、CS研究会 幹事／委員長などを歴任。本会フェロー。
With the rapid advancement of AI, the scope of research within the electronic information and communication fields handled by our Society is undergoing significant change. Research methodologies are also evolving, and access to information necessary for research and development has become easier than ever.
Even amid such transformation, our Society continues to provide numerous opportunities for experts to engage in active discussions and deepen their knowledge. Above all, I believe that our Society remains a place where researchers can continue to grow.
To further advance the Society, it is essential to engage in ongoing discussions and evaluations regarding its future direction, actively communicate its value, and reinforce the financial foundation that supports these efforts. Through constructive dialogue with many of you, I hope to contribute to the Society’s activities in my capacity as Treasurer.
Graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, Keio University in 1993, and completed the master’s program at the same university in 1995. Joined Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation (now NTT Corporation) in the same year, engaging in research and development of integrated circuits such as optical communication ICs. Since 2012, has been involved in research and development of optical access technologies for mobile applications.
Currently serves as Senior Distinguished Researcher and Head of Planning, NTT Device Innovation Center. Has held several positions within the Society, including Treasurer of the Tokyo Section, General Affairs Secretary of the Electronics Society, Director of General Affairs, and Chair/Secretary of the CS Research Committee. Fellow of the Society.
