In recent years, generative AI, quantum technologies, digital twins, and other advances have progressed rapidly, and ICT has become increasingly important as a foundation supporting our society. In this environment, I believe that stable financial management is essential for the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE) to continue its sustainable activities and to provide valuable opportunities for all its members.
Through my involvement in various initiatives for the next generation―including science workshops for children, student activities, and programs for junior members―I have come to realize that the activities of the Institute are sustained by the cooperation of many individuals, supported by a solid financial foundation. As a candidate for Treasurer, I hope to make use of these experiences and contribute, even in a small way, to supporting the smooth operation of the Institute.
Although my abilities may be limited, I am committed to doing my utmost to contribute to the continued development of the Institute.
