I participated to many technical committees, have experienced to serve as an assistant secretary, a secretary, a vice chair, and a chair in multiple technical committees for more than 20 years. I have learned various kinds of important things as a researcher though those operations. I was also fortunate to be able to be involved in the editorial process through the editing work of the Communications Society Magazine. During my two years as vice president, I have been exploring new ways of conducting academic activities in the post-COVID era. In the process, I have come to reiterate the importance of collaboration between the board of directors and the front lines of society activities, including technical committees and editorial committees. I hope to contribute to the Communications Society in my humble capacity, in order to enable all members to engage in more meaningful activities.
