この度は、理事会より企画理事候補としてご推薦いただき、誠に光栄です。電子情報通信学会は、電子・情報・通信・エレクトロニクス分野を担う日本最大の国際学会であり、また人が中心の学会であると宣言しています。「発信する人」、「人との交流」、「未来への人材育成」の３つを大事にすることで、新しい価値が生まれ、最終的には学会に還元され、学会のさらなる活性化に繋がっていくものだと思います。
私自身も、学会を通して、学術的に育成していただき、研究成果を発信して、発信後に人との交流を経て、また新しい研究を見つけていく、というサイクルを繰り返してきました。このサイクルは学会に参加する人にとって非常に有益であります。
テレワークが普及した一方で、コミュニケーションの課題も見えてきているように思います。人が中心である学会としての新しい形を模索する時期にあるのではないかと思います。今後、非公式なコミュニケーションの場を作るなど、健全なコミュニケーション社会の形成を行い、人のための電子情報通信学会が拡大していく将来を考えていきたいと思っています。企画理事として、学会の継続的な発展に貢献して参りたいと思います。
2001年電気通信大学電子工学科卒業、2003年同大大学院博士前期課程修了。2003年より (株)構造計画研究所に入社し、電波伝搬に関する研究・開発、レイトレース法解析ツールの開発に従事。2010年よりITU-R SG3（電波伝搬）会合に日本代表団として出席。2010年東京工業大学博士課程修了。
2016年から2022年まで、電子情報通信学会アンテナ・伝播研究会の専門委員。IEEE AP-S Tokyo Chapter ではTreasurerとSecretaryを歴任。2011年より、総務省・情報通信審議会・情報通信技術分科会ITU部会・電波伝搬委員会の専門委員。現在、(株)構造計画研究所電波技術部の部長。
I am honored to be nominated as a candidate for Director of Conferences, Student Activities and Education. IEICE is Japan's largest international organization for the fields of electronics, information, communications and related fields, and they also declare that they are a people-centered society. I believe that by placing importance on the three elements of "people who communicate", "interaction with people" and "human resource development for the future", a new value will be created and ultimately returned to the association, leading to further revitalization of the organization.
I myself have repeatedly gone through the cycle of being academically nurtured through academic conferences, disseminating research results, and then finding new research again through interaction with people after the results are disseminated.
While teleworking (or work from home) has become more widespread, I think we are also beginning to see communication challenges. I believe that it is time to seek a new form for the conference as a people-centered society. I would like to consider a future in which the IEICE expands for the benefit of people by forming a healthy communication society, for example by creating a forum for informal communication. As a Director of Conferences, Student Activities and Education, I would like to contribute to the continued development of the society.
Yukiko Kishiki received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electronics engineering from the University of Electro-Communications, Tokyo, Japan, in 2001 and 2003, respectively. She joined Kozo Keikaku Engineering Inc., Japan, in 2003. She has been engaged in radiowave propagation research and the development of a ray tracing simulator. She had attended ITU-R SG3 (Radiowave Propagation) meetings as a Japanese delegate since 2010. She received the D.E. degree from the Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 2010.
From 2016 to 2022, she was a Technical Committee member on Antennas and Propagation of the IEICE. She has served as Treasurer and Secretary of IEEE AP-S Tokyo Chapter. Since 2011, she has been an expert member of the Radio Propagation Committee, ITU Subcommittee, Information and Communication Technology Subcommittee, Information and Communication Council, of Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. Currently, she is the manager of the Radio Technology Department of Kozo Keikaku Engineering Inc.
