[Statement]

We often hear the word "literacy," such as scientific literacy, information literacy, and media literacy. Literacy means the ability to understand and express a subject accurately. As the situation surrounding academic world is changing drastically, we may need to develop "academic institute literacy. " Important reasons for the existence of academic institute include new connections among researchers and the development of cross-disciplinary academic fields. I will try to think about the literacy to make good use of academic institute as a means to achieve these goals. I will do my best to make IEICE live up to those expectations.
