Main topics include theory of speech processing, speech production, speech perception, speech quality assessment, speech analysis, feature extraction of speech, synthesis of phonological unit and prosody, text to speech (TTS), speech recognition, speech understanding, spoken dialog modeling, spoken language processing, knowledge processing for spoken language, singing information processing, compression of speech signal, high density speech recording, signal processing for speech, speech technology for welfare, language education, speech input and output device, human auditory system, auditory function, auditory model, and auditory information processing. Our committee has technical meetings nearly every month and approximately 150 technical papers are presented in a year. All meetings are cohosted by IEICE and the Acoustical Society of Japan (ASJ). Several meetings are also cohosted by other societies, e.g., Information Processing Society of Japan (IPSJ), the Japanese Society for Artificial Intelligence (JSAI), and IEEE. In addition to annual meetings, our committee actively organizes international workshops, tutorials, lectures, and invited talks.

SS：Software Science

Brief Introduction

Introduction

The Technical Group on Software Science holds several workshops a year.
