| 抄録（和） | 本報告では,一つの基地局と複数の端末より成る集中制御のマイクロセル型無線LANを検討の対象とする.一つのセルに着目して,リアルタイムビデオ情報とコンピュ-タデ-タを同時に伝送する場合のTDDアロハ形予約プロトコルの性能を,シミュレ-ションにより評価する.チャネル伝送誤りに対処するため,デ-タに対してはARQ制御を,ビデオに対しては許容遅延によるパケット廃棄制御を併用したARQ制御を行う.シミュレ-ションの結果,ビデオ情報を伝送するためには,ARQ等の誤り制御を行うことは必須であることが分かった.また,パケット廃棄制御は誤り率が大きい領域における性能の劣化を食止めることができるが,その適用領域は小さいことも明らかになった. |
| 抄録（英） | This paper considers integrated real-time video and data transmission over a wireless LAN which consists of a single base station and two or more terminals.The performance of the LAN with the TDD ALOHA-Reservation MAC protocol is evaluated through simulation in the presence of transmission errors.Selective-repeat ARQ control is carried out over both video and data.Regarding video traffic,we also examine the applicability of a packet discarding technique,which discards packets with elapsed time of more than a threshold value.The simulation results show that the ARQ is indispensable to video transmission,while the packet discarding technique is effective only under high error-rate conditions. |
