| 抄録（和） | 本報告は、ディジタル伝送路の状態が悪化した場合に、音声あるいは画像の品質を確保するため、量子化レベルに対する2進符号の割当てについて述べた。ビット誤り雑音を低減するためには信号レベルの確率分布を考慮する必要があり、一般に符号化音声および差分符号化画像信号のレベル分布はラプラス分布あるいは正規分布で近似することができる。筆者らは信号のレベル分布に従い、符号のハミング重みの順序で符号を割当てる方法を見い出し、これを重み順符号と名づけた。この符号と従来の2進符号にていて、ビット誤りが発生した場合のSM比を比較し、重み順符号が誤り雑音の低減効果があることを示した。さらにこの符号を音声および画像信号に応用する場合の検討を行った。 |
| 抄録（英） | ABSTRACT This paper describes the assignment of binary codes to quantized signals to confirm the quality of sound and picture in case the transmitting condition is degraded.In order to reduce the bit-error noise it is necessary to consider the probability distributions of quantized signals.The authors have found a method for assigning the codes in order of Hamming weight in accordance with the distribution of signals.The S, N ratio of the assigned codes were compared with the conventional binary codes.From the comparison,it was found that weight-order code is effective to reduce noise in case the signal distribution is not uniform. |
