| 抄録（和） | 近年普及してきているスマートフォンは，端末の高機能化，高付加価値化を実現するために，モバイルネットワーク内にとどまらず，主にインターネット上のサーバと直接通信を行ってサービスを受けることが多くなってきている．\r\n 一方，従来のモバイルネットワークは3GPPで標準化されたRANとEPCのみを管理対象としたネットワーク構成を取っており，モバイルネットワークの外部のネットワーク状況を考慮した経路制御，サーバリソース割り当てなどは行われてきていなかった．そのため，モバイルオペレータにとって，増大するトラヒックに対応しながら従来と同様の通信品質を維持・管理するのが困難になりつつある．\r\n そこで，本研究ではインターネットへの通信を高頻度で行うエンドユーザに対しE2Eでの高い通信品質を提供し，且つモバイルネットワーク内のリソースも効率的に利用してトラヒック増に伴うOPEX増大に対応することを目的として，SDNを導入し固定ネットワークとモバイルネットワークを統一的に扱う手法について提案する． |
| 抄録（英） | Abstract In recent years, the acquisition of much richer functionality and performance of smartphones has get end-users to expect higher quality services. Service providers have become to make “internet-based” services with the assumption that all smartphones have a broad band connection to the internet. On the other hand, mobile networks have not been used as it has been expected and standardized nowadays. The 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) has not standardized backhaul network but only Radio Access Network (RAN) and Evolved Packet Core (EPC) because it doesn’t affect the functions in the network. The mobile operators have only to deploy all the network functions like route control or server resource allocation in their network and to optimize them. But recent drastic change of usage how end-users use their phones has made the mobile network not fit to the current way of usage in terms of resource, especially on route control.\r\nSo we suggest that the way the mobile operators introduce Software-defined networking (SDN) and manage it as part of end-to-end network to optimize the resource usage better and to provide better quality of communication services to end-users. It will even lead to decrease OPEX. |
