| 抄録（和） | 近年のインタネットを利用する生活習慣の定着やPC等の端末機器の低価格化によりADSLやFTTH(Fiber To The Home)等のブロードバンドインフラを利用したサービスが多様化している。これにより、”いつでも”、”どこでも”、”だれとでも”を謳い文句にしてきたユビキタスサービスにおいて、”どんな情報も”が加わり、ブロードバンドユビキタスサービスという新しい世界が創られようとしている。一方、ブロードバンドインフラについては、国家政策としてのe-Japan計画の基、急伸を続けている。特に、PON(Passive Optical Network)方式の普及によりFTTHは著しい成長を続けている。本文では、これらブロードバンドユビキタスサービスに向けたネットワークインフラのアーキテクチャ、具備すべき機能、及び今後の課題について述べ、ブロードバンドユビキタスサービスに向けたネットワーク機器及びそれを支える要素技術開発に対する方向性を示す。 |
| 抄録（英） | Recently, various services using broadband infrastructure such as ADSL and FTTH have been provided, because Internet has penetrated in our life-style and low price PC and other user terminals has been populated. Therefore, conventional ubiquitous services with catchphrase “Anytime”, “Anyplace” and “Anybody” communication incorporate the new feature of “Any type” data transmission, and develop to “Broadband ubiquitous services”. On the other hand, broadband infrastructure has grown up according to e-Japan strategy. Particularly, growing trend of FTTH has been outstanding, because of maturity of PON (Passive Optical Network) technologies. This report discusses network architecture for broadband ubiquitous services, functionalities of facilities, and remaining issues. Then, this paper proposes features of products and key technologies for broadband ubiquitous services. |
