In NISQ, the reliability of a quantum circuit depends on the initial layout of qubits. In addition, the number of qubits increase, a full search becomes difficult. Therefore, it is important to efficiently search for the reliable initial layout of qubits. In this article, we propose a method to search for the initial layout that improves the reliability using a tree structure. In our method, pruning is performed by enumerating the arrangement of a certain number of qubits and evaluating their reliability. Comparing the reliability by our method and an existing method, the reliability improved by 1.06 times on average and 1.42 times at the maximum for the combination of the verified quantum circuit and device.

We propose a data streaming pipeline design model using graph model to visualize the flow of data stream which can represents data pileup of different time frame. Then, we proposed a verification method to check if there is a sensitive data leak in the data streaming pipeline by applying simple pattern matching using Knuth-Morris-Pratt (KMP) algorithm to the data pileup in the pipeline. We show that we can verify the violation of privacy by analyzing data token from different sources within different data time frame.

However, influence maximization does not necessarily maximize the social welfare because it only considers the number of information recipients, nor can profit maximization achieve social welfare maximization due to no limitation of costs to propagate influence for viral marketings. With an estimation on the utility distributions, it is expected to increase the social welfare much more than one obtained by influence maximization. Hence, we formulate a social welfare maximization problem by modeling utility and a social welfare function as they relate to general diffusion models. We also prove the approximation guarantee of an algorithm for the proposed problem. Simulation experiments on random networks and random distributions of user parameters show that SWM obtains more of the social welfare than IM in over 75% of the samples and there are cases where SWM has 10% more of the social welfare than IM in more than half of the samples. The experimental results demonstrate the usefulness of the social welfare maximization problem.

As one of the approximate approaches, previous work proposed cycle-based local update method that local-disjoint paths on cycles are utilized to re-calculate routing. However, this method might reach local-optimum due to greedy selection to avoid congestion. By introducing reinforcement learning mechanism to iterated cycle update method, the selection strategy on reinforcement learning has a better balance between greediness and randomness. Therefore, this paper proposes the cycle-based local update method with reinforcement learning for edge-load factor balancing problem and indicates that the proposed method improves edge-load balancing performance more than greedy.
