Scope of the Symposium: This symposium is on quantum information science,
which is a new interdisciplinary area of information science and quantum
mechanics.
Presentations can be given in English as well as in Japanese.

The 42nd Quantum Information Technology Symposium (QIT42) has been canceled due to COVID-19.

- Date: May 18th-19th, 2020
- Venue: Funai Tetsuro Auditorium, Katsura Campus, Kyoto University (Kyoto daigaku katsura, Nishikyo-ku, Kyoto-shi, Kyoto 615-8510, Japan)
- Expected number of participants: 180
- Early registration fee (banquet excluded and proceedings included): 4,000 yen (Student: 3,000 yen)
- Banquet fee: to be determined (Student: to be determined)
- Payment should be made by bank transfer by May 1st (Fri.), 2020.
- In case of on-site cash payment:
- Registration fee (proceedings included, banquet excluded): 5,000 yen (Student: 4,000 yen)
