@Hiroshi Kamabe

Members in ESS (Engineering Science Society) have widen the research area of electronics, information and communication engineering.They have also deepened the research area.
For example, NOLTA sub-society has been the newest society, NOLTA society and new research groups for new interdisciplinary research areas were established almost every year.
I hope that I can contribute to the research area of electronics, information and communication engineering by joining the steering committee of ESS and that I can transmit the features of our society to the next generation active researchers.

Hiroshi Kamabe received the B.E. and M.E. degrees from Toyohashi University of Technology in 1982 and 1924, respectively. He received the Ph.D. from Nagoya University in 1996. He joined Mie University in 1982 and Gifu University in 1998. Since 2010, he has been a professor at Gifu University. He is a senior member of IEICE. He served as an associate editor of IEICE Trans. Fundamentals of Electronics, Communications and Computer Science, a chief editor of a special issue of the transaction, a chair of IEICE technical committee, Information Theory, and a chair of the local steering committe of 2013 IEICE General Conference at Gifu.
