The ESS has the mission not only to promote the fundamental researches in the fields of electronics, communication and information but also to encourage pioneering the new clue. In the ESS, it is very significant that all of the sub-societies and the research groups can be administrated well and smoothly. Furthermore, the environment, in which the younger researchers can be cultivated globally and freely, should be established. I hope strongly to contribute to the administration of the ESS so that the society can progress steadily.
